Korea's main international gateway. Two terminals (T1 + T2). T2 = Korean Air, Delta, KLM, Air France; T1 = everyone else.

From plane to outside

  1. 1Disembark → walk to immigration (10–20 min).
  2. 2Immigration — line for K-ETA holders if you registered. Otherwise general line.
  3. 3Baggage claim — display board shows your flight's carousel.
  4. 4Customs — green channel (nothing to declare), red channel (>$600 worth or restricted goods).
  5. 5Arrival hall — Tourist Info booth, SIM kiosks, KEB Hana ATM, AREX gate (B1) on your left.

Facilities

Late-night reality

AREX runs until 23:30 from ICN; first train 05:23. Between those: limo buses 6001 run 04:30–22:50 (every 20–30 min). After 23:00 — only taxis. Standard taxi night surcharge applies from 22:00.

Hidden tips

  • Get T-money / Wallet at the CU on the basement level before the train — quieter line than the AREX counter.
  • For T2, the KEB Hana ATM in arrivals has lower fees than the kiosk forex booth.
  • Shuttle bus between T1 and T2 is FREE — 18-min ride.
GMP

Gimpo International Airport

김포국제공항 · Seoul (15 km west)

The "domestic" airport that also serves Tokyo, Osaka, Shanghai, Beijing, Taipei. Closer to the city than ICN.

From plane to outside

  2. 2Baggage claim → customs → arrival hall.
  3. 3Subway (Line 5 / Line 9 / AREX / GoldLine) is immediately downstairs.

Busan's airport — serves regional Asia, China, Japan plus charter flights.

  • Jeju rental cars require IDP from a 1949-treaty country (most of Europe, US, Australia). Some Asian countries are 1968 — call ahead.
